About Cultural Bridges. For thirteen years, I worked for four international organisations in seven European and Arab countries.

This exposure to different cultures made me aware of the importance of cross cultural communication, not only in the sense of overcoming the language barrier, but also in the sense of understanding why the other person talks or acts in a certain manner.

The most intriguing part of this exposure was being an Arab working in an Arab country other than my own; many similarities yet also many differences. I could imagine that interacting with Arab cultures would be even more challenging for people from other parts of the world.

This is the reason why I decided to set up cultural bridges: to assist people from different backgrounds to communicate in a more efficient fashion with their Arab counterparts.
